Today we start a new adventure, being aware of the challenges that life has to offer, no matter who you are. The STEAM Academy will be dedicated to serve the community, helping young people of all ages to develop a good sense of wellbeing. To young students, we offer guidance in their choice of professional careers, in both higher education and in the trade schools. Times are different now in someways (mainly technologically) but the needs to success and the want for a good life have continued in someways the same. That complexity is what creates the need for a collective effort in the education of our young.
Tutoring for us is more than helping students do their homework (Dr. T. calls it home-joy!) and get good grades in class and a good GPA that will allow the student go to a college/university where the student will get a diploma to allow her/him/they to become productive citizens in our society.
That is why the activities of the STEAM Academy will go beyond doing homework and include mentoring/career coaching to help the student develop their own personality and the skills necessary for a good life.
