STEAM Academy

Helping you achieve your high potential. As in the antique times of Greece the “Academy” created by Plato around 387 BC this STEAM Academy is a place where the joy of learning, not only helps us to have a good job, it also provides the means necessary for a full meaningful life. Teachers in traditional schooling are doing a great job in helping students learn important skills, but the reality is that traditional schooling is failing due to structural and obsolete paradigms. Thus the need for extracurricular, “after school” programs are necessary and this Academy is part of the solution.

These challenging times require that we prepare in new ways. Dr. David Terrell has been for more than 25 years an university professor who has been keeping current with the latest trends in our society. Dr. T’s teaching on physics, chemistry, environmental science, and electronics has given him a broad view of the situation, not only academic, but in our society in general as the job market is continuously evolving.

As Professor Emeritus of Physical Science, Dr. T. is able and available to help you, as a student, to prepare for this continuously changing world.

We are interested in collaboration with other institutions. Where mutual support is key for the success of our students. One in Particular is ExperimentPDx.com
